Career
Technologies is designed to allow students an opportunity to
explore a variety of technological careers. This career
exploration includes concepts, practices, and careers associated
with Communications Technologies, Physical Technologies, and
Bio-Related Technologies. Students are provided opportunities to
explore these technologies through the use of problem-solving
approaches, teamwork, and hands-on activities that integrate
technical academic, and knowledge skills applicable to the
workplace. This semester course provides students with a broad
base of career overviews.
The Technology
Student Association (TSA) is an integral component to the Career
Technologies program. TSA involvement fosters leadership
development, career awareness, school and community service, and
technological literacy.

Career
Discoveries is a semester long course designed to allow
students an opportunity to utilize the latest technologies in
exploring a variety of careers. This career exploration includes
concepts, practices, and careers associated with Communication
Technology, Physical Technology, and Bio-Related Technology.
Students are provided opportunities to explore these
technologies through the use of problem solving approaches,
teamwork, and hands-on activities that integrate academic,
technical, and knowledge skills.
